Ed Sheeran‘s Divide World Tour is set to hit Australian shores very soon, with his first of 12 shows taking place in Perth’s Optus Stadium on the 2nd of March.
The singer announced his support act for the Australian tour today, revealing ARIA Award winning singer Missy Higgins would be joining him. The star will also be joined be Drax Project in Auckland and SIX60 in Dunedin, for the New Zealand leg of his tour.
“In Australia Missy Higgins will be joining me, which I’m very happy about as I’m a long-time fan of her music,” Ed said in a statement.
While Missy said of the announcement, “I’m profoundly grateful for the opportunity to share a stage with Ed and play to so many people but it’s already giving me butterflies. I don’t know whether I’m excited or terrified – probably a bit of both!”
