Dua Lipa’s giving you a new virtual concert, and it’s gonna be disco-themed

The new concert is called "Studio 2054" and it sounds so fun!

After dropping her album Future Nostalgia all the way back in March, Dua Lipa has been grappling with the conundrum of dropping an album without being able to tour. Given the ongoing global pandemic, many artists are turning to virtual concerts. Now, eight long months after her album dropped, Dua Lipa is heading back to the stage. Come November 27th, fans will be able to see their fave disco-inspired queen in a virtual concert called “Studio 2054.”

You’re probably aware that the “Studio 2054” name is a nod to the iconic NYC disco nightclub Studio 54, frequented by the likes of Andy Warhol. According to a press release, it looks like we could expect a similar amount of spectacle from Dua Lipa’s homage.

“Dua will move through custom built sets; surreal tv shows, roller discos, ecstatic raves, trashy rocker hang outs, voguing ballrooms and diva style dressing room,” the release shared about the upcoming virtual concert. This sounds like it could nearly reach the height of the recent Savage X Fenty showcase from Rihanna!

Tickets for “Studio 2054” are going on sale on the 30th of October, and there are a couple of packages that offer pre-show behind the scenes footage and After Show Party access. We’re not too sure what the “party” part is going to look like considering we’re still in the midst of a pandemic. Hopefully not a Kim Kardashian-esque private island getaway.

Since it looks like it’s gonna be a long while until we see stadium tours back on the agenda (RIP Harry Styles’s Australia tour) we’ll definitely be virtually boogieing with Dua Lipa.
