A sneak peek for Olivia Wilde’s highly anticipated film, Don’t Worry Darling, just dropped and Twitter is absolutely not OK.
WATCH: Don’t Worry Darling – Official Teaser
Directed by Olivia Wilde and starring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Dakota Johnson, and more, the 1950s American psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling has received a lot of hype since its announcement.
And now, movie fans have been given a first look at the new film (see above), as well as a release date. Scroll on for all the details.
The clip is short and only shows snippets from the movie – everything from Alice (played by Florence) sitting on a beach chair, to making out with Jack (Harry Styles), to her head being trapped in cling-wrap.
Needless to say, this film looks like it’s going to be quite the rollercoaster. And Stan Twitter is already having a moment.
So when is Don’t Worry Darling hitting screens?
DWD is in American theatres on 23rd September 2022.
For us Aussies, we’ll have to wait a little while longer with Warner Bros AU confirming that DWD hits Australian cinemas on October 20th, 2022.
What is the plot of Don’t Worry Darling?
According to the official logline for the film, DWD centres around “A 1950’s housewife living with her husband in a utopian experimental community who begins to worry that his glamorous company may be hiding disturbing secrets”.
The film is directed by Olivia Wilde, who received a lot of acclaim for her directorial debut, Booksmart. It was on set for DWD that she and Harry Styles were initially linked, before the pair eventually sparked dating rumours.
Now, they still appear to be going strong.
