When Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner tied the knot in Vegas a few weeks ago, they didn’t think their nuptials would be live streamed for the world to watch.
Enter: Diplo.
The 40-year-old DJ streamed the whole event, much to the surprise of the bride and groom.
So, when Joe and Sophie celebrated their second wedding in Paris over the weekend, Diplo’s phone was confiscated.
“This is the only photo I got from Joe and Sophie Turner Jonas wedding because they took my phone from me and put in a holding cell during the ceremony. Heard it was lovely tho,” Diplo wrote on Instagram.
LOL!
Joe chatted to the U.K. radio show Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp to talk about the first wedding in Vegas, and one the host’s addressed the live stream, saying, “Diplo ruined it for you, though.”
Joe replied, “Yeah, he ruined it. I love Diplo, but he loves his ‘gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds.”
However, the couple wasn’t that upset about the whole thing. “We just laughed,” Joe said. “We loved it. We thought it was ridiculous.”
Sophie echoed Joe’s sentiments while on The Graham Norton Show. She said, “We didn’t choose him to be our wedding photographer — he just decided to live stream it.”
