Chloë Grace Moretz’s New Movie Trailer Is Full Of Body Shaming That We Aren’t Here For

After she claimed it was "empowering" for young women.

Recently Chloë Grace Moretz‘s new Snow White movie adaptation, Red Shoes & The 7 Dwarfs got major backlash, after it’s marketing campaign was a big old body-shaming mess.

Chloë was equally as appalled, claiming she had no idea about it, but she urged fans to see the movie anyway as: “The actual story is powerful for young women and resonated with me. I am sorry for the offence that was beyond my creative control,” she concluded.

Now, the trailer has dropped, but it’s just as problematic as its marketing.

It shows two dwarves arriving inside the cottage through a magic portal. From afar, a tall, slim woman (Chloë’s voice character) enters the cottage, dressed up in red heels and a glittering dress.

Next, the dwarves watch her get undressed… ew.

After she removes her magical shoes, she transforms into a shorter, heavier version of herself. As soon as that happens, the dwarves are disgusted.
