Chilling Adventures of Sabrina fans were hit pretty hard earlier this year. After a pretty short run, the Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa-helmed Netflix show bit the dust. Sabrina’s end came as part of a wave of cancellations that included the Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene starring Lucy Hale, and I Am Not Okay With This. Now though, fans have finally got a release date for the series’ ending (or ‘Part 4’), which was filmed at the same time as the most recently released Part 3.
Sources tell TVLine that in the final episodes, “The Eldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale.”
“The coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness, to name a few), all leading up to… The Void, which is the End of All Things. As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart, but will it be too late?”
The final chapter will be sliding in right in time to brighten fan’s final hours of 2020.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4 is set to land on the 31st of December (a Thursday, and New Year’s Eve). Unfortunately, we’re not going to get to see the Riverdale x Sabrina crossover that was slated for Part 5, but look, we’ll take what we can get.
