If you’ve recently binge-watched the entire Harry Potter series after Netflix dropped every movie onto the streaming service, then we have the wizard fix you’ve been waiting for. Pottermore (the official website that houses all things Harry Potter) has a personalized quiz that will tell you which Hogwarts house you belong to.
Yes. That’s right.
The sorting test, partly authored by Harry Potter writer, J.K. Rowling takes your best and worst attributes and finds which house you are best suited to. But wait it gets better. Some of your fave celebs have taken the quiz and we have the answers to which house they belong to.
GRYFFINDOR
Gryffindor: The house of Harry, Hermione, and Ron. Gryffindors are brave, loyal, courageous, adventurous and daring.

In an interview with ELLE, Margot admitted “I’m in Gryffindor, obviously… but I totally rigged my answers. I could totally tell which answers were going to get me into Gryffindor and so those were my answers. I do think I’d be in Gryffindor anyway, but I definitely manipulated the quiz in my favor. I wouldn’t have been bummed with Ravenclaw, though.”
Kit Harrington
The Game of Thrones star has shared he is “Gryffindor, obviously.” In his opinion, “No one wants to be Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw is boring, Slytherin is full of psychos, as people know.”
Evanna Lynch
It might come as a surprise that the actress who played Luna Lovegood, a member of Ravenclaw, is actually a Gryffindor IRL. The actress has taken the quiz twice to be sure.
Daniel Radcliffe
Harry Potter himself has never taken the Pottermore quiz but he reckons he’d be in Gryffindor. “To me I absolutely think I would be in Gryffindor!” Radcliffe has said. “But there’s never any doubt of that for me. Yeah. I like, maybe I’m just biased because I played one for so long, but I could never picture myself in any other colours.”
Tom Felton
While he portrayed Slytherin devotee Draco Malfoy, Tom himself has been sorted into Gryffindor and he was pretty devo about it. “Today was the day. I finally did it. I joined Pottermore and was sorted into……..Gryffindor,” he wrote on Twitter. “Heart broken x #slytherinforlife“
And Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling wasn’t surprised, writing: “I could have told you that years ago. I just didn’t want to spoil your motivation ;)”
RAVENCLAW
Ravenclaw: The house of Luna Lovegood and Cho Chang. Ravenclaws are wise, intelligent, creative and knowledgeable.

The host of The Late Night Show was actually sorted into Ravenclaw by J.K Rowling herself. Colbert sent her a DM on Twitter and she replied: “he’s definitely a Ravenclaw, with Gryffindor undertones.”
Darren Criss
The Glee star is a total Ravenclaw, but he says his Glee character Blaine is actually a Gryffindor.
Kelly-Marie Tran
The Star Wars trilogy star was sorted into Ravenclaw. But she argues she’s definitely more of a Gryffindor. Don’t tell the sorting hat that. “I feel like the Sorting Hat would have been like, ‘You should pick.’ And I would have picked Gryffindor,” Tran said.
HUFFLEPUFF
Hufflepuff: The house of Cedric Diggory and Newt Scamander. Hufflepuffs are hard workers, dedicated, patient and loyal.

“I always thought I’d probably be Hufflepuff,” Sheeran told Buzzfeed. “Slytherin’s pure, pure-blood and I’m kind of mixed between Irish and English. Ravenclaw’s very smart. Gryffindor’s really brave and [growl]. And Hufflepuff’s, kind of, just the one that…isn’t. So, I guess I’d be Hufflepuff!
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
‘The Rock’ told the crowd during the 2016 MTV Movie Awards that he is a Hufflepuff. He has even tweeted “Hufflepuffs in the house!”

The Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them star is a proud Hufflepuff. “For far too long now, Hufflepuffs have been victimised” Eddie told MTV. But he believes they are loyal, hardworking and compassionate.
