Live your life with arms wide open, today is where your book begins, because Brody Jenner has officially signed on for The Hills reboot.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed Brody and his wife Kaitlynn Carter have finally reached a deal to join the show, a month after the revival was announced at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The Hills: New Beginnings will follow original castmembers Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Jason Whaler, Frankie Delgado, Justin Bobby Brescia and Stephanie Pratt, who reunited on the MTV VMAs red carpet last month to announce the reboot.
Whitney Port was noticeably absent from the reunion, but later confirmed on Instagram she would be joining the new series, saying, “Maybe they’ll let me out of the fashion closet this time.”
Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari won’t be a part of New Beginnings. If you listen carefully, you can hear Brody sighing with relief. He notoriously dated both of them during The Hills, and the “love triangle” fuelled many storylines throughout the series.
Fear not: we’re sure Audrina and Justin Bobby will bring the goods.
In the words of Kristen Cavallari, bring on the “DRAMA! Drama, drama, drama.”
