In a nutshell, we have a group of very in love people face off against their loved ones on television in a series of therapy sessions – so yeah, you can expect there to be DRAMA.

On season three of Bride & Prejudice, high-society girl Tori, 28, met and then fell in love 34-year-old James, a man from the wrong side of the tracks.

Although they come from two very different backgrounds, Tori and James are madly in love.

There is just one little snag: Tori’s well-to-do mother doesn’t approve.

Tori and James have been together for five years and engaged for two, with strata manager Tori revealing she fell for tradie James immediately.

“He was tanned, no shirt on. I was definitely judging that he was ‘just a hot tradie’ but I actually found that he was a nice guy too,” says Tori of their first meeting.

James then adds: “We became close instantly and from that day, I don’t think we have spent a night apart.”

While the couple are proud parents to their three-year-old daughter Olivia, Tori’s well-off mother Mary-Ann doesn’t approve of the union because James is a tradie.

“My first impression of James was I didn’t like him. The bad boy image came across, the tats. I just thought Victoria could do better. My ideal son-in-law for Victoria would be a professional person.”

As for James, he believes Mary-Anne is being ‘disrespectful’.

“She looks down at me because I don’t meet her social standards. Tori’s side of the family grew up with money, they’re established,” James says.

“She disrespects me. She thinks I’m a bit of dirt on a shoe. She’d rather just kick me off, she’d rather think I didn’t even exist.”
