Blake will actually star in and produce the new murder-mystery, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
CBS has picked up the series and added producers such as Chris Weitz, Paul Weitz, and Andrew Miano.
The fascinating story will follow a suburban housewife, Cecilia Fitzpatrick (Blake), who finds a letter addressed to her from her husband. It instructs her to open it after his death.
She opens it while he was still alive, and her perfect life starts to fall apart. She discovers that her entire life is based on lies and murder.
CBS Films president Terry Press has stated, “Liane Moriarty has established herself as one of the defining voices of the modern woman, and Blake Lively’s unique combination of vulnerability, strength and extraordinary talent makes her the perfect actress to realise Moriarty’s creation.”
