They’re rebooting SO many old shows these days but don’t expect to see Sabrina the Teenage Witch back on your screens any time soon.
Sadly, Sabrina herself aka Melissa Joan Hart shut down the rumours about a Spellman family reunion in a new interview with Pedestrian TV.
“People keep asking about it but there’s nothing going on with it, that I know of anyway,” she spilled. “My mother and I had the rights because we produced the show, but the rights have reverted back to the Archie Comics company and they’re doing the show Riverdale.”
Ok so the Sabrina we all know and love probs won’t be making a comeback but she will appear (in very different form) in our fave new show Riverdale, YAS!
ICYMI, the original Sabrina Spellman first appeared in the Archie’s Madhouse comics back in 1962 and Riverdale, which is based on the Archie world, is bringing her back!
“It’s not the same Sabrina it will be a different version of Sabrina,” Melissa added. “Because Archie has the rights no one can do it without them doing it.”
You might have already heard that Sabrina is set to be in the Riverdale finale! So who’s ready for a new Sabrina?!
