Ariana Grande recently revealed the artwork for her upcoming album ‘Thank U, Next’ and it shows her posed laying down and wearing next to nothing.
And, just like her “Sweetener” album, the image of Ari is upside down.
Fans have gone ham over this new album cover and decided to make their own. And, Ari is totally obsessed with her fans interpretations.
One fan turned the border colour from pink to black and inserted a picture of Ari, which was taken from a home movie she uploaded to Instagram last year.
The 7 Rings singer particularly liked this one, writing on Twitter: “yo honest to god … i’d change it to this if i could.”
“Change it to this pls,” wrote a fan and Ari responded: “Jackie is it too late lmao.”
The Jackie that Ari is referring to is most likely Jackie Augustus, the head of digital marketing for Ariana’s manager Scooter Braun.
Others jumped on the meme, which led to the #thankunextchallenge on Twitter and so many versions were created including Toulouse, Piggy Smallz, Mac Miller’s pup Myron, one of Ari’s besties Simon Gross and even her nonna.
IMHO, the version with nonna is definitely the best.
