WATCH: Here’s everything we know about Ariana Grande’s new album ‘Thank U, Next,
If you haven’t already heard, Ariana Grande has released the tracklist, and release date for her new album Thank U, Next.
The album is coming February 8, only a few days before Valentine’s Day, which yes, was on purpose.
Thankfully, Ariana has taken the time to explain what a few of her upcoming songs are about, *cough* Pete Davidson *cough*.
While we already knew her new album would focus on the harrowing events she has been through, (breaking off her engagement to Pete, and losing ex-boyfriend Mac Miller to a drug overdose), we didn’t expect her to go THIS savage on Twitter.
“In My Head”
“Being in love w a version of somebody you’ve created in your head. falling for someone that they are not,” she wrote.
“Ghostin”
“feeling badly for the person you’re with bc you love somebody else. feeling badly bc he can tell he can’t compare…. and how i should be ghosting him.”
“Bloodline”
“Wanting somebody but not enough to have them in your bloodline.”
As for the song “NASA”, her good friend and songwriter Victoria Monet shut down rumours that it was about Pete’s shirt.
“Yo I promise we did not write a whole song about this mans shirt 😂 promise. it’s just a universally common word 🙈” she wrote.
We are SO keen!
