Ariana Grande has officially released her new album “Thank U, Next”, so you can bet your bondage bunny ears that fans have been dissecting every single song and lyric.
Most songs have a pretty strong theme and meaning to them, but one in particular has fans feeling quite sad, and that’s “Ghostin'”.
Fans are certain it’s about her deceased ex, Mac Miller.
The lyrics give away major hints: “He just comes to visit me when I’m dreaming ever now and then.”
The song even seems to be set to the beat of Mac Miller’s song “2009”.
Ariana even previously confirmed that the song is about thinking of an ex when you’re in a relationship.
The biggest clue are the lyrics: “Though I wish he were here instead/Don’t want that living in your head. He just comes to visit me/When I’m dreaming every now and then.”
On top of that, fans think that the lyrics are close to those in “Cinderella,” Mac’s song that was written about Ariana.
