American Horror Story‘s upcoming ninth season is just around the corner.
To mark the occasion, series creator Ryan Murphy and U.S. broadcasting network FX has dropped a massive cast teaser.

What a cast!
Emma Roberts, Cody Fern, Billie Lourd is among the returning stars to appear in the new season of the Emmy Award-winning horror series with the addition of newcomers Olympian Gus Kenworthy, former Glee Matthew Morrison, Pose’s Angelica Ross, DeRon Horton, and Zach Villa.
Murphy captioned the teaser with “To celebrate the first day of filming the NINTH Season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, here’s the official 1984 cast announcement along with some amazing 80s lewks. Enjoy!”
Unfortunately, resident favourites Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson won’t be back for the 80’s chapter.
Expect slasher flick vibes from the ninth season like popular ’80s slasher films Friday the 13th and Halloween.

American Horror Story: 1984 premieres September 18 on FX.
