There have been rumours about another Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie for AGES now and it sounds like we’re finally one step closer to it being a reality!
Speaking to E! News at the Human Rights Campaign gala on Monday, America Ferrera revealed that a third installment of the franchise was “an idea and a conversation” and that the other sisters are keen too!
“It’s an idea and a conversation,” she said. “I think it would be amazing. The sisterhood is still well and alive. I love my girls. We’re very much a part of each other’s lives and if the movie happens it would be a great thing.”

Last year, Blake sent the Sisterhood fandom into meltdown when she teased the next chapter.
“There is a strong chance there might be a third,” Blake said in a radio interview. “The four of us are still best friends and to be able to create something together again has always been a dream of ours; but it would have to be something that really made sense. If you wait this long to do a third movie, it needs to honour the story and the legacy.”
And let’s not forget there are FIVE books in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series so we’re just gonna call it, this is 100% happening!
