Who else would watch the sh*t out of a season where Abbie Chatfield was the next Bachelorette?
We know we would!
WATCH: Abbie talks about being the next Bachelorette
Despite her, fairly horrific, experience on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor – which included bullying, slut-shaming AND getting her heart broken on national TV – Abbie told Sydney Confidential she would “love” to be the next Bachelorette.
So make it happen Channel Ten!
“I would love to be Bachelorette,” she told Sydney Confidential yesterday.
“But I think it’s a really hard gig because you’re basically by yourself … I’d definitely consider (it though), I think it would be lots of fun.”
Even though Abbie has been spotted kissing former Bachelorette hottie Todd King, the 24-year-old insists she is a single gal, and that sharing a cheeky pash doesn’t necessarily mean you’re dating someone.
In saying that, her quotes did seem to suggest there were feelings there.
“No, we’re not dating. We had like, one weekend in Brisbane and it’s been drawn out,” she told the publication.
“He’s great but he lives in Perth and just got into the police academy so he’s not moving [and] I’m not moving to Perth.”
So basically what Abbie’s saying here is that they had a fling, but it neither of them were willing to move states. Seems fair TBH.
Abbie really did bring home the ‘I’m single’ angle though when she took to Insta, posting a shot of her interview with the caption: “Yell ‘I’m still alone’ any louder”.
Abbie continued by sharing her ideal man with the publication: “I don’t have a type at all. Every guy that I’ve dated is completely different in age, appearance, background and job.
“I want someone who’s smart and empathetic and can make me laugh.”
Don’t we all!
