Aussie superstars 5 Seconds Of Summer have recently teamed up with DJ duo The Chainsmokers! In fact, they released a track together called “Who Do You Love,” and it’s an absolute hit!
Now, they’re taking their collaboration further by going on tour together!
Unfortunately, fans were PISSED!
“WHY are you doing this? they are problematic & have done horrible things. I’m literally so disappointed, this is embarrassing for you and your career,” one fan said.
It’s true. The Chainsmokers have come under serious fire in the past for comments they’ve made.
One fan reminded people of their racism, sharing an old interview with an Asian reporter, where band member Alex Pall joked about why he can’t bring his dog into China.
“Yeah i don’t want to be a hater but i just cannot support a band like them. i guess i’ll just wait till 5sos tours alone again,” one fan said.
Yikes.
Despite all the hate, we are really happy for the band! Unfortunately for now, the tour is limited to the United States.
