Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey just shared a shirtless thirst trap pic on Instagram to encourage people to watch his message about mental health. And, look, hot shirtless pic aside, his analogy makes a lot of sense and does help.
Last night, Posey shared a video about “a cool analogy” he came up with about mental health and why you shouldn’t beat yourself up for feeling sad or upset at times—it’s perfectly normal, especially in the middle of a global pandemic.
“Tell me if this hits home for anybody,” he started to say. “People get confused because when we’re sad, which is kinda a lot of the time because we’re humans, people think it’s bad. But think of us as traffic lights.”
“If everyone were green all the time, there’d be a lot of accidents. We need that red, we need that sadness to keep the flow going. And that holds true.”
“But that being said, if there’s a lot of red, if there’s a lot of sadness, and you can’t seem to climb out of it, talk to somebody. I know from experience that trying to figure things out on your own, you don’t have all the answers up here.”
“People are there to help you, that’s what the world is about. Love and sharing.”
And, ofc, to get more people to check the post, the belovedly chaotic Teen Wolf actor shared a shirtless photo of himself and all his great tatts in the bathroom, including a tattoo of a woman resting on a cushion on his belly button (because sure, why not?).
