"A couple, a pandemic, & a postponed wedding: a series."

On the 8th of August, 2020, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland and her fiancé Wells Adams were meant to celebrate their eternal love for each other with all of their friends and family at their wedding. But, thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, plans have changed…

During this time, some couples are turning to alternate means, holding wedding ceremonies either with a v small crowd or over Zoom. But, sadly, Hyland was diagnosed with kidney dysplasia at a young age and her previous health issues make it too risky to host such a big gathering in the middle of a global health crisis. So, on the day when they were supposed to get married, Hyland and Adams shared a gorgeous photoshoot at a cute lil vineyard.

In a post aptly called “a couple, a pandemic, & a postponed wedding: a series,” Hyland and American Bachelor in Paradise alum Adams posed in front of a beautiful vineyard with greenery that stretched as far as the eye could see.

Hyland wore an angelic country fit paying tribute to her big day, an off-the-shoulder lace top, white pants, some beaded bracelets, an oversized cream straw hat and a veil hidden underneath it. Adams complimented her bride-to-be with a simple white shirt tucked into a pair of light brown chinos.

“We were supposed to get married today. Instead… we took pictures and drank wine. I love you to Pluto & back,” she wrote in the caption of the post.

According to TooFab, the pair first started seeing each other in 2017, when Hyland had to undergo a kidney transplant from her brother. The couple moved in together in August 2018 and were reportedly engaged in July 2019.

In a reunion special of The Bachelor, called The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons Ever, Hyland told Chris Hanson, “we have no plans as of right now. We’ve put all planning on hold.”
