Some celebrities have created a fortune of their own, while others were born as heirs to some of the most famous—and wealthiest—families in the world. And actress Nicola Peltz is certainly one of them.
She may have sprung onto our radar after her relationship with Brooklyn Beckham became public, but her It-status skyrocketed after the pair announced their engagement this past weekend.
Prior to their whirlwind romance, the 25-year-old actress is known for her roles in the 2014 film Transformers: Age of Extinction, and the television series Bates Motel. Prior to her engagement to Beckham, she dated Anwar Hadid.
But Peltz, who grew up in Westchester, New York, also happens to be the daughter of American investor Nelson Peltz. Meaning that she is officially an heir to his billion dollar fortune.
According to Forbes, Nelson Peltz has an estimated net worth of $2.7 billion—which is even more than the Beckham family’s reported $665 million worth.
Her father’s firm, Trian Fund Management, has invested in companies like Tiffany & Co., General Electric and consumer goods corporation Procter & Gamble, where he sits on the board of directors. The company has almost $13 billion in assets under its current management.
