Just when you thought one more celebrity couldn’t POSSIBLY break up in 2018, it’s happened.
One of our very favourite pairings, Hailee Steinfeld and Niall Horan, have officially called it quits.
PEOPLE confirms that the couple who had been dating since February decided to end their relationship.
Speculation escalated when fans their followers noticed that Niall didn’t publicly wish Hailee a happy birthday this year on Dec. 11.
THAT’S a big move for this day and age.
Last year, Niall raved about her in a sweet Instagram shout-out. “Happy birthday to the loveliest person on the planet and one of my best friends @haileesteinfeld. Have no idea what the hell is going on in this photo. Love ya hails,” he wrote in 2017.
But the biggest sign was probably when Hailee unfollowed Niall on Instagram.
Yikes.
Even worse, fans noticed that Hailee had reunited with her ex Cameron Smoller in November, as seen in a video a fan account obtained.
Neither Niall nor Hailee have made any public comments regarding their split.
Well, it was fun while it lasted.
