Mia Fevola, 21, and her Western Bulldogs footy player boyfriend Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, 19, aren’t letting the internet trolls burst their loved-up bubble as they continue supporting each other through the thick of it all.

Speculation around Mia and Jamarra’s relationship began last year during Mia’s 21st birthday celebrations.
However, Mia hushed rumours when she told the Herald Sun that the two were “just friends.”
But it mustn’t have lasted long before things got a little more than just friendly – the couple have now confirmed their relationship by going Instagram official, and they seem to be swinging from strength to strength.
The young couple have big things in store for them, and they no doubt will lean on each other as they navigate their budding careers.
Mia is working on becoming a lucrative businesswoman, and she already has an activewear brand called Mallt Collective.
The 21-year-old is also studying marketing at university, modelling and working on her makeup artistry.
While Mia works on taking over the Australian lifestyle scene, Jamarra is killingthe AFL game as he slowly rises through the ranks.
Fans have already dubbed him as Buddy Franklin 2.0 after he earned the title as the No.1 Draft pick last year. The Age even described him as an athletic freak, which is some preeettty decent praise.
However, when asked about his No.1 Draft pick, Jamarra response was sweet and humble, “At the end of the day it’s just a number.”
But this achievement is more significant than he let on – by nabbing the top spot, he’s made history as the first Indigenous footballer to take the first place in the draft since Des Headland, who did it way back in 1998.
Jamarra is from the South-west Indigenous community situated near the outskirts of Warrnambool, and he is one of five brothers.
In an interview with ABC News, Jamarra talked about why he is excited to inspire his family through his success, which really makes it all the more clear why Mia would be drawn to the footy star – the two value their families above all.
“Obviously it opens opportunities for my younger cousins and brothers, but it’s also a good achievement to finish school, especially coming from an Indigenous community.
“At the end of the day, yes it’s my dream to play AFL. And if I make it there, it’s obviously going to make my little brothers and cousins look up to me and have that belief they can make it too,” Jamarra told ABC News.
Although it seems Mia and Jamarra are only becoming more in love with each other, they have had to face some nasty and highly inappropriate internet bullying.
The cruel comments flooded Mia’s Instagram when trolls criticised the young girls dating history and accused her of only dating footy players for status.
However, it was all the way back in February 2020 when Mia split from her boyfriend of two years, Richmond Tigers player Daniel Rioli, and regardless, it’s undeniably toxic to accuse anyone of being with someone for ulterior motives.
And what’s more, it is clear that Mia and Jamarra socialise in the same friendship circles – so they definitely don’t deserve unnecessary speculation.
Mia’s legendary stepfather Brendan Fevola came to his daughter’s defence to silence the trolls and to rightfully have them feel ashamed of their behaviour.
Brendan spoke out on his Fox FM breakfast show,saying, “Mia’s been with a couple of football players. That’s okay.
“She was with Josh (St Kilda player) for a little bit. Dated Daniel. He was apart of the family but they moved on, they haven’t been together for nearly two wears.
“He has moved on with another girl which is great for Daniel. He’s a great kid.”
“Now she’s met this other guy, Jamarra. Great kid. Young boy. And they started dating before he even started playing football. He wasn’t drafted at all.”
He then went on to share some strong words with those who dared to slut-shame Mia.
“She can date whoever she wants, she can go out with whoever she wants, whenever she wants. She’s a 21-year-old girl. When we were 21 we were doing whatever we wanted.
“It just p*sses me off that people can write that and say vile things online about any girl, not just Mia.”
Mia and Jamarra are moving forward, hand-in-hand, as they continue to enjoy spending time together, and last weekend they posted pictures of themselves all loved-up at the aptly named For The Love music festival.
Despite all the bullying, the Instagram post comments were filled with positivity and praise for the couple.
One fan posted, “Cutest couple, so happy for you! and another commented, “You’re amazing! (and beautiful, inside and out)”.
And so, as we watch Mia and Jamarra tackle the twists and turns together, we may see them evolve into Australia’s hottest power couple yet.
