If there’s one good thing we can say about this pandemic season, it’s the influx of celebrity baby news. And, as of today, singer Meghan Trainor has joined the celebrity quarantine pregnancy club!
The 26-year-old “All About That Bass” artist first revealed the big news with husband Daryl Sabara on The Today Show, where, wearing matching grey sweatshirts, she confessed, “we’ve been waiting for so long!”
“I was thinking about who do we tell first and I’ve told Hoda since I was 19, going to The Today Show, ‘I will have the most babies in the world!'”
“Every time I see you, I’m like, it’s going to happen,” she added. “And it finally happened!”
Then, Trainor officially revealed the news in a cute Christmas themed sonogram pic of her forthcoming first child surrounded by Christmas decorations.
“You all know how long I’ve wanted this,” she wrote. “Daryl Sabara and I are so beyond happy and excited to meet this little cutie early next year. WE’RE PREGNANTTTTT!!! 🎁😍🥳”
Meghan Trainor and Darly Sabara first started dating in 2018. In that same year, Trainor told People, “I want some children! I want kids!”
“We’re both so excited for it,” she continued at the time. “We both constantly watch baby YouTube videos and lessons on YouTube, like ‘How to take care of an infant.’ We’re just getting prepared every single day.”
