Max Ehrich is now accusing Demi Lovato of “using” their breakup for a “calculated PR stunt”

“You just lost someone who loved you fully, completely, infinitely, for everything.”

In the latest episode of ‘Max Ehrich’s plot to stay relevant,’ the actor is now accusing his ex-fiancé and singer Demi Lovato of using their breakup for a “calculated PR stunt.” OK, buddy. Sure.

Ehrich recently appeared on Instagram Live and alluded to the sudden end of the pair’s two-month engagement. In it, he claimed that fans had been “breaking into” his Airbnb and were harassing his family, and tried to call out Demi for allegedly “using your millions of dollars to write false, fake news about me.”

“Stop using me as a pawn and a PR stunt. Stop,” he said, apparently addressing Lovato and her fans. “Stop breaking into my Airbnb. Stop harassing me. Stop harassing my mom, my family, the people around me — to ‘scare’ us.”

“Just like, make art. I’ll support you,” he continued, adopting a sarcastic tone. “You’re all great, you’re awesome. Literally just like, leave me alone. And stop using your millions of dollars to write false, fake news about me.”

“I’m a person. I’m a living, breathing person with feelings, with blood in my arms,” he continued. “If y’all wanna villainise me, literally say whatever you wanna say at this point.”

The American Princess actor then started to compare himself to Ariana Grande’s ex-fiancé, comedian and actor Pete Davidson, who you might remember was name-dropped in Grande’s break-up anthem, “Thank U, Next.”

And look, Demi Lovato’s new single “Still Have Me” is absolutely a post-breakup song about her recent relationship with Max Ehrich, but he has not been vilified in the way he’s described. If anything he’s the one making things worse. The best thing he can do right now is take a step back and just, stay offline for a bit.

“It’s just the craziest thing,” Ehrich said. “This is the most bizarre experience that I hope no one ever has to experience, ever. ‘Cause no person deserves to feel this way. Pete Davidson didn’t deserve to feel this way.”

Max’s latest comments come after sources said that he was “lying” about his retelling of events. After Demi’s family shared they were “worried” about her new boo, sources say they are “breathing a sigh of relief” at the breakup news.

“Her whole family is breathing a sigh of relief that she was able to see the signs before they got married,” a source exclusively told Hollywood Life. “The way Max is [attacking her online] is just proving that Demi made the right call by ending the engagement.”

“When they first broke up some of her family and friends were questioning if it might be a temporary split but the way he’s acting [since she broke up with him] makes it very clear there’s just no going back.”
