Maisie Williams and her boyfriend Reuben Selby are a couple that fully embraces coordinated outfits and self-expression.

They both experiment with gender-fluid, colourful and sustainable clothing.

The smart duo transformed this bond into a collaborative artistic effort, and the results are delectable.

The couple has been together since 2019, and they’ve become celebrated for their twinning outfits on the front rows of fashion week.

This is the former Game of Thrones actor’s first public partner, and the relationship is effortlessly iconic.

So, who is Reuben?

Reuben is quite an impressive individual, and he already has a multi-hyphen career at only 23-years-old.

He is the founder of The Contact Agency, a modelling agency in the UK, and he is the co-founder of Cortez Creatives. Plus, the supportive boyfriend was briefly the communications director of Maisie’s social media platform Daisie.

Have Maisie and Reuben worked together?

This couple loves to collaborate creatively, and they’ve produced amazing work together.

In 2020, Maisie helped her beau launch his debut fashion collection, called (In)visible Barriers.

Reuben is the brand’s creative director and founder, but it’s been reported that he seeks Maisie’s advice.

The unique collection had a clear focus on genderless clothing and sustainability, and in an interview with Tatler, Maisie explained how her boyfriend views clothes.

“Reuben doesn’t really see clothing as having any specific gender,” she told the publication. “It’s just an image.”

In September 2020, the couple coordinated their look for Dior SS21 during Paris Fashion Week.

They both wore the same colour face masked and tonally curated their outfits to fit one another.

For their appearance at the Thom Browne Show in March 2020, Maisie and Reuben looked dapper in their stunning looks, but it was their twinning electric blue eyeshadow that set the internet alight.

Did Reuben design one of Maisie’s red-carpet dresses?

Rueben honoured his love by collaborating with fashion designer JW Anderson to design a dress for Maisie.

She wore the beautiful design to the 2019 Emmys, and she revealed to ELLE.com how the idea came to be.

“I’ve always wanted the perfect custom red carpet dress—something that I feel really confident and comfortable in,” she said.

“I asked Reuben if he would design something with me in mind; my height, my shape, my likes and insecurities. I love collaborating on the dresses I wear, I wish I could do it more. Being five feet tall it is almost impossible to wear something straight off the hanger.”

Has Reuben feature on Maisie’s Instagram?

Despite so many public appearances, the couple is quite a private pair.

Aside from the occasional picture together on Maisie’s Instagram, she isn’t one to overshare.

But in one particularly gushy post from January 2020, the actress gave the world a loving glimpse into her relationship.

“This year was the best. i fell in love with a boy and i fell in love with myself 😏 i started saying ‘no’. i stopped worrying about the past, i stopped wishing for the future, and i started loving life for what it is today – because ‘today is a gift, that is why they call it ‘the present’’. i made time to do more of the things that bring me joy,” she wrote on Instagram.

“2020 will probably be filled with more days spent tending our pot plant children which sounds perfect to me. for anyone who needs to hear this: it starts with you and the changes you’re willing to make. it’s out there for you to take. so don’t just seize the day, seize your life. happy new year 🥳.”

Maisie may not have had ‘survive a pandemic’ on her New Year’s message, but she was right about finding true love and that she would have more time (than ever) to tend to her plant babies.
