Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock has welcomed not one, but TWO babies just days before her bandmate Perrie Edwards… so it looks like the Mixer fan theory held up, after all.

Leigh-Anne, 29, took to Instagram on Monday to announce that she and her footballer fiancé, Andre Gray, had welcomed twins.
Sharing a close up, black-and-white photo of two adorable sets of tiny feet, the singer wrote: “We asked for a miracle, we were given two… 🖤 Our Cubbies are here 😍🖤16/08/21 🖤.”
Quick to comment on the sweet post was fellow new mum Perrie Edwards, who penned: “Two bundles of absolute joy! I love you my Lee Lee!”
Fellow Little Mix bandmate Jade Thirlwall also added her voice of support to the mix, writing: “😭😭Superwoman! Proud of you and love you xxx.”
Leigh-Anne welcomed her twins just five days before Perrie’s first child was born, though the latter popstar announced the arrival of her little one first.
Fans were indeed speculating as to whether Leigh-Anne gave birth before Perrie, considering they fell pregnant at the same time and announced the news within a week of each other.
Well, it looks like they were right! Kinda. Leigh-Anne waited over a week after the arrival of her twins to announce the news, albeit it was just two days (rather than the speculated week) after Perrie revealed she had also given birth.
Perrie announced the arrival of her bub, whom she shares with professional footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, on Sunday via Instagram.
Sharing two close-up, black-and-white photos, the 28-year-old wrote: “Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21.”

The post was soon flooded with support, including from Leigh-Anne herself who penned: “I am so proud of you and I love you so much what an angel ❤️❤️😍😍.”
Jade also sent her love, writing: “😭Proud of you always. Ly ✨.”
Noticeably absent from both of the new mothers’ comments sections was former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson, who left the group in December, 2020.
Both Leigh-Anne and Perrie have yet to reveal their babies’ names or sexes, but that may come with time. Congrats to the new mums!
