Unless you were living beneath a Wi-Fi free rock you’re probably aware of the fact that Kylie Jenner drew out confirming her pregnancy for a looong time. More specifically, she only announced that her first daughter, who we now know as Stormi, who was born on February 1st, in March of 2018, ending months of ‘is she or isn’t she?’ speculation.

The news came only a month after her sister, Kim Kardashian, welcomed her third child, Chicago West, via surrogate, and two months after her other sister, Khloé Kardashian, announced her pregnancy via Instagram.
With all the Kardashian/Jenner pregnancies underway we thought it prime time to track how the famous sisters announced their babies—unsurprisingly, Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Instagram both play prominent roles.
KIM KARDASHIAN
Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child via surrogate this year, revealing her daughter’s name, Chicago West, via Twitter shortly after the birth. Kim confirmed the news of the surrogate’s pregnancy on season 14 ofKeeping Up With The Kardashiansin September, announcing “We’re pregnant!” while Facetiming her sister, Khloé.
She later shared a picture of Chicago via Instagram.
Kylie Jenner arguably pulled off the most-anticipated pregnancy announcement in the history of pregnancy announcements, waiting until after the birth of her daughter to confirm that the speculation had been true. Though many believed she was going to use the hype to stage some sort of publicity or money-making stunt, the youngest Jenner sister instead took to Instagram with a screenshotted statement andsubsequent 12-minute film documenting her pregnancy.
Khloé Kardashian, who is currently pregnant, also waited several months before confirming her rumoured pregnancy. Taking to Instagram, she shared a shot of her herself and boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, holding her pregnant belly—in Calvin Klein underwear (the Kardashians are never one to forget a sponsor!).
“My greatest dream realised!” she wrote. “Tristan, thank you for making me a MOMMY!”
Kim Kardashian announced her second pregnancy with baby Saint on the season 11 premiere ofKeeping Up With The Kardashiansin 2015. Speaking to sister Khloé during their trip to Armenia, Kim revealed “I haven’t told anyone. Just you! I told North last night but I don’t think she understands.”
Kim later revealed her son, Saint’s birth via Instagram.
Kim is one to stick to a theme, so it’s no surprise she also announced her first pregnancy during an episode ofKeeping Up With The Kardashians. On the season finale ofKourtney & Kim Take Miamiback in 2013, Kim reveals to Kourtney that she and husband Kanye West are expecting their first child. Kim later revealed she had given birth to a daughter, baby North, with an adorable Instagram.
Kourtney Kardashian also usedKeeping Up With The Kardashiansas a platform to announce her three pregnancies. She famously filmed herself giving birth to her first son, Mason, which was aired during the fourth season ofKeeping Up With The Kardashians. She announced her third pregnancy with Scott Disick in the mid-season premiere of season nine back in 2014.
