Back in June, Aussie expat and rapper Iggy Azalea gave birth to her first child and “secret son,” Onyx, with fellow rapper Playboi Carti. Four months later, she’s finally giving us a look at the little baby boy, and revealed she’s decided to raise him on her own.
On Friday, the “Fancy” artist, 30, teased that she had allegedly broken up with her rapper boyfriend in a series of cryptic messages on her Instagram Story. According to The Shade Room, they included, “you lost a real one,” followed by, “people take loyalty for granted and that’s why I’d rather be alone.” Ouch.
According to 9Honey, she later clarified that said messages were about the end of her romance with Carti. “What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone and I’m not in a relationship,” she said.
Then, yesterday morning, the 30-year-old rapper shared the first pic of baby Onyx. In it, Azalea wore a lace top with a messy bun tied up with a bandanna and large hoop earrings. Onyx sported a pair of baby blue shorts, white sailor patterned shirt and a cute lil bib. Check it out for yourself below.
Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti first met in 2018 while she was touring. The pair reportedly split several months later before reuniting and allegedly getting engaged in July 2019.
