Earlier this year, reports began to emerge that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West were getting a divorce, but now it seems they aren’t the only celebrity couple calling it quits in 2021.

As of Tuesday, Umbrella Academy and Juno star Elliot Page, 33, has reportedly filed for divorce, too.
According to a TMZ report, the 33-year-old allegedly filed for divorce from his wife of three years, Emma Portner, 26.
“Can’t believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife,” Elliot previously said of Emma, whom he married in January 2018.
In a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter, Elliot and Emma said, “After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce following our separation last summer. We have the utmost respect for each other and remain close friends.”
Their split comes just two months after Elliot came out as trans. In a letter shared on his socials, Elliot said, “Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot. I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life.”
Emma supported her husband’s decision, reposting his coming out letter with the caption, “I am so proud of Elliot. Trans, queer and non-binary people are a gift to this world.”
