Last week, Demi Lovato and her fiancé Max Ehrich broke up, just two months after the pair got engaged and six months since they first started dating. In the lead up to the split, Demi’s friends and family said they were “worried” about her new boo, as decade old tweets of Max simping for Demi’s infamous not-friend Selena Gomez resurfaced.
Since the breakup, Max has claimed that he was only informed that their engagement was off by reading about it in the papers and has been making various comments about it on his Instagram Stories. Every day there’s a new claim on his IG Stories about how Demi and her team are “defaming” the truth—even though sources say that Max is lying about everything. So, justifiably, Demi allegedly “wants nothing to do with” her ex-fiancé.
According to a source speaking exclusively to E! News, “Demi wants no contact with Max at this point. She is completely embarrassed at the way he’s been acting and putting their relationship on blast via social media. She wants nothing to do with him.”
The source continued to add that Max, in the midst of his weird comments online, bible verse quotes and filming his new project, has “tried to reach out” to Demi and is apparently “in denial” that their engagement is over. As such, Max’s “erratic behaviour” is “worrying” Demi, who “does not want the situation to escalate.” Poor thing.
“Demi is completely done and doesn’t want to see him again at this point,” the source explained. “She can’t believe she fell into his trap and is really upset over it.”
Demi Lovato has yet to publicly address her breakup with Max Ehrich. Instead, as the source concluded, “She’s been spending a lot of time with her family and friends to help heal from this and they are all keeping her occupied and rallying around her.” And look, being around a support network and getting that good serotonin hit sounds pretty good and healthy to us!
