Even though Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus have been dating since November 2019, they’ve been pretty private about their relationship. Instead of posting a lot of cute self-isolation couple moments on the ‘gram, the pair have been using their online platforms to promote the Black Lives Matter movement, anti-COVID-19 measures and their careers.
But, Cody just shared a cute lil pic of him and Miley with a message that has us absolutely fangirling over the pair.
Last Saturday, Cody shared a photo on his Instagram Story of him and Miley. The photo in question featured the pair snuggling up in the car, dressed in opposite black on white and white on black printed tees (we love a couple who coordinate), with the caption, “in love with my best friend.”

In case you missed it, the internet also officially lost its mind earlier this year when the pair filmed a TikTok dance together and Miley put Cody in drag.
“Miley Cyrus has always been my childhood crush,” he told Fuse way back in 2012, years before the two became friends. “I knew all the words to her song—I’m not gonna lie. I’m not ashamed about it at all.”
“I was a big Miley Cyrus fan. I think she will be—forever—the most dateable Disney star.”
Well, how fitting that Cody is now dating his ultimate childhood crush and “the most dateable Disney star.”
“Miley is one of my best friends, and she helps with some of that transitional stuff—trying to escape your childhood,” he told GQ Australia about their friendship, in 2015. “She’s super open-minded, and I’m working on becoming more like that.”
