Billie Eilish’s mum just revealed she nearly went to therapy… because of her obsession with Justin Bieber.
In an episode of Apple Music’s Me and Dad radio with Billie Eilish, the 18 year old multi-Grammy winner’s mum, Maggie Baird, revealed that her love for Justin Bieber nearly led her to getting therapy.
Growing up, Eilish was obsessed with the Biebz and Marina and the Diamonds, and would frequently be literally sobbing listening to their music.
“Driving to the dance studio with Billie, playing this song, sobbing, and then driving back and sobbing,” Baird said on the show, referencing Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me.” “It was either Marina and the Diamonds or this, sobbing. Not just this, it was all of Justin Bieber… any Justin Bieber song.”
“I just happen to remember this one really well, and the video, and Billie talking to me about it, and being excited that it was coming out and just crying and crying. Everyone knows the whole Billie-Justin Bieber thing, but this song was a big part of it.”
“I would watch the music video for this song and just sob,” Eilish added.
“I just want to say, we did consider taking you to therapy because you were in so much pain over Justin Biber,” Baird admitted.
It’s no secret that growing up Eilish was a diehard Bieber stan, but this is… incredibly cute.
