Kanye making a show about Kanye? We’re not surprised. What we are surprised about is that he won’t be playing himself.
Deadline reports that Kanye has cast Jaden Smith to play his younger self, and it makes TOTAL sense.
Kanye is set to executive produce the show called Omniverse, which will reportedly be a “limited half-hour anthology series examining the many doors of perception.”
The first season of the series will “explore the Ego through an alternate reality Kanye West” played by Jaden.
Deadline is calling the series “West’s first major foray into television.”
