Vanessa #1 in the film is called Stacy, baker from Chicago. Vanessa #2 is Margaret, the Duchess of Montenaro.

Stacy is invited to compete in a Christmas baking competition, where she travels to Europe for the holidays. On set of the competition, she runs into the Duchess.

After discovering that they’re identical, Margaret asks Stacy to trade places with her for two days, so she knows what it’s like to be a normal girl before marrying Prince Edward on Christmas Day.

What follows is a cliche we all know and love.
