Finally, what all Riverdale and CAOS fans have been waiting for!!! A CROSSOVER!
However, it’s definitely not what you’ve been expecting.
In the brand new issue of Archie Comics, Sabrina has crossed over to Riverdale, to help Archie and co. to find a missing person.
“She’s going to shake Riverdale up in a major way! When a character as classic and iconic as Sabrina comes to town, you know it has to have a big impact,” writer Nick Spencer told MTV News.
The storyline isn’t part of the current Riverdale comics storyline, but with the same characters we have grown to know and love mixed with a bit of mystery, we know it will fit in perfectly.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, creator of both shows has been very open to the possibility of a crossover, after Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has developed its own audience.
“I would hate if there was no way possible for there ever to be a crossover,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “I think there’d be a great episode where the Riverdale kids hear about a haunted house in Greendale and try to break in and it’s Sabrina’s house. There’s totally a universe where that happens.”
Fingers crossed it’s sooner rather than later!
