Is it really the best show of 2018?

Netflix’s new series Maniac is confusing viewers all over the world, but they can’t stop watching.

Without giving anything away, Maniac stars Jonah Hill and Emma Stone as misfits of society who play characters who enter a pharmaceutical trial promising to fix any broken parts of the mind permanently without any side-effects.

As the 10-episode show continues, Jonah and Emma find themselves interacting with each other in alternative universes.

But the confusing storyline of the show is seriously messing with people’s minds:

But despite most viewers thinking “what the… is going on?”, the show is being praised with Variety naming it one of the best shows of 2018.
