The 2018 American Music Awards are just ONE week away, and if the incredible lineup wasn’t enough for you to tune in… this news might just be enough to change your mind.
The one and only Taylor Swift is set to open the night with an epic performance!
On Tuesday morning, Taylor made the announcement on Good Morning America. In a video with her cat Meredith by her side, she revealed that she is opening the show.
In the announcement, Taylor also revealed that she would be singing “I Did Something Bad”.
“I’m opening up the American Music Awards with a performance of “I Did Something Bad.” Meredith is not excited, but I am. #AMAs” she wrote as the caption.
Other performances for the night include Cardi B with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, Halsey, Khalid, Post Malone and more.
The 2018 American Music Awards will broadcast live on October 9.
