Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are filming a remake of ‘The Princess Bride’

The cast includes nearly everyone in Hollywood.

As well as preparing for the new role as ~parents~, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have also been busy with a secret acting project while in quarantine. By the power of the phone camera and in the name of charity, a tonne of celebs are pitching in for a remake of the classic 1987 film The Princess Bride.

The project was originally thought-up by Juno director Jason Reitman. He told Vanity Fair, “I just woke up one of the first mornings, I think like most people did, feeling as though, All right, I need to be able to do something of value.”

“I just thought, Can we remake an entire movie at home? And I had seen that a fan-made Star Wars had been done. I just started reaching out to actors I knew, saying, ‘Is this something you’d want to do?’ And the response was kind of immediate and fast. It was like, ‘Oh—that sounds like fun.'”

And it looks like Turner and her husband had a lot of fun filming their sections of the good-natured parody film. In a clip recreating the escape from the fire swamp, Turner plays Wesley AKA The Man In Black and Jonas does an excellent job as Princess Buttercup. You can catch a sneak peek below.

The couple is one of a few IRL couples who play the famous Wesley and Buttercup. Common and Tiffany Haddish and Chris Pine and Annabelle Wallis also do their bit recreating the love story.

The film is being released by Quibi, a mobile streaming service that donated one million dollars to World Central Kitchen. Quibi will release chapters of the movie daily for two weeks, from June 29.
