Rita Ora has unveiled the music video for controversial single “Girls” featuring Cardi B, Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha.
Despite all the backlash the video has still been released and it comes complete with a full-on pash.
Yep, Cardi B and Rita Ora pash in a futuristic scene that looks like something straight out of Ready Player One.
Hayley Kiyoko originally slammed the song for containing “messaging that is just downright tone-deaf, which does more harm than good for the LGBTQ+ community.”
Rita although quickly released a statement after the backlash, saying the song “was written to represent my truth, and is an accurate account of a very real and honest experience in my life.”
Cardi B also came to the songs defence. She tweeted: “We never try to cause harm or had bad intentions with the song, I personally myself had experiences with other woman, shiieeett with a lot of woman! I though[t] the song was a good song, and I remember my experience.”
