Paris Jackson is in the upcoming new season of Scream!

The new series titled Scream: Resurrection is a reboot of the original MTV and Netflix series which ran from June 2015 before wrapping things up in October 2016.
Don’t expect to see familiar faces from the first two seasons though as the third season has a brand new cast including Mary J. Blige, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey and Grammy nominee Tyga.
It will also see the return of the original 1996 “Ghostface” killer (including original film voice actor Roger Jackson) and marks the first appearance of the iconic mask in a TV series format.
Paris, who plays a nurse in the intense trailer shared the exciting news on Twitter.
Fans have waited years for the season to air since it has been stuck in development since 2017 due to the Harvey Weinstein scandal as the series was under The Weinstein Company.
The slasher series has although now found a home with American TV network VH1 after MTV dropped the series.
Scream: Resurrection will first air on VH1 from July 8 and will contain just six episodes.
No word just yet where and when the series will air in Australia.
