We knew it was over, but now we know it’s really over.
Following Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus’ split, we’ve been waiting for the moment Miley officially cuts all ties with her ex-husband by unfollowing him on social media – and now it’s happened.

Not only did Miley unfollow Liam, but she has also unfollowed her ex-girlfriend and friend of three years, Kaitlynn Carter.
Liam we get, but Kaitlynn seems a little harsh.
Following her split from Liam in August, Miley moved on with The Hills: New Beginnings star only to call it quits after a few weeks because the relationship was getting “too intense”.
The couples extreme social media presence also prompted Liam to file for a divorce later that same month.
Miley then moved on from Kaitlynn (almost immediately) with Aussie singer Cody Simpson, which TBH seems way more intense than her time with Kaitlynn.
So what could have prompted this unceremonious unfollowing?
We are guessing three things.
One: Kaitlynn recently wrote a first-person essay for Elle Magazine that both detailed her journey through self-discovery, as well as sharing some details about her time with Miley.
“Reflecting back on our three-year friendship, I realized I’d always been drawn to her in a way I wasn’t with other friends,” Kaitlynn wrote.
“But until that trip, it had never crossed my mind to think of her in a romantic sense.”
Secondly: Liam has already unfollowed Miley on Instagram and moved on with Dynasty actress Maddison Brown.
In October, Liam went public with his relationship with Madison after TMZ captured the pair passionately hooking up in NYC.
And last but not least is the fact that Miley seems super happy with Cody, and finding a new and fulfilling relationship is how one moves on.
