Cartier will certainly be a change of pace for everyone on the Island. Describing herself as a “born again Christian”, Cartier doesn’t drink (except for the occasion champagne – nice loophole) and was a national swimmer for four years.

Gerard runs his own business in Perth called Body Magic, where he specialises in working with people with disabilities.

As for what Gerard is looking for? One word – love.

Adam, 27, plasterer, Gold Coast

Adam doesn’t exactly sell himself well…

Admitting that he is a “mummies boy”, he also admits that he’s never had a girlfriend for longer than six months, and he absolutely DOES NOT want to date someone from the Gold Coast.

Turns out this plasterer/model also auditioned for Love Island in America but missed out.

Matt admits that “the best and worst thing about me is that I can sometimes be too honest.”

Matt is both an international model that has walked the catwalks of London and Milan and a professional wrestler, using the stage name ‘Charlie Matthews’.

In a fun twist of fate, Matt used to bunk with Love Island season one castmate Justin Lacko when they were both modelling in Milan.

Oh and p.s. Matt has crippling phobias of rats and needles.

Sam, 28, international DJ, Melbourne

International DJ Sam confesses: “I’m very picky, I struggle to find someone who’s the full girlfriend material.”

Just in case you were wondering, Sam wasn’t lying about that whole ‘massive DJ’ thing, the dude has played at after-parties for Justin Bieber, Drake and Martin Garrix.

So yeah…kind of a big deal.

Even though Sam has had three relationships, he hasn’t been in a committed relationship for seven years.

Maurice, 27, Media Executive, Sydney

Maurice is a proud Egyptian man, who runs his own media company called Media Co.

Maurice has really showed off his humble side, stating: “I am another breed of person, I’m the whole package.”

Always good to be confident, we say!

When it comes to his ideal woman, Maurice (naturally) has very high expectations: “A nice tan, sexy voluptuous girl with brown eyes and blemishless skin.”

Well, we can already sense drama with this one.

Eoghan, 24, real estate agent, Gold Coast

Eoghan – pronounced ‘Owen’ – is an Irish born real estate agent from the Gold Coast who has been compared to Tarzan, Aquaman, Thor and Jon Snow (we see it?).

Eoghan WAS in a relationship with his high school sweetheart – whom he met at 14 – but they broke up 18 months ago.

Devo.

But never fear because Eoghan is ready to move on, ideally with a “brunette who is fun, not rude, polite and extremely lady like.

“I want to put her on a pedestal like she is the only girl in the world.”
