While it seems like One Direction fans have been waiting 3,000 years for Louis Tomlinson to release his debut solo album, they haven’t lost any hope!
True fans know that Louis is a perfectionist, and he will only release the best of the best for his fans, so they’ve been happy to wait… but now, it seems like the wait is almost over!
Louis sat down with Dermot O’Leary on BBC Radio 2, and explained why it’s taken so long. “I’m a bit pedantic about this, I want it to be value for money so it’s going to be as many tracks as I can possibly get on it. I want to get it close to 18 for the deluxe.
“It’s been a long process but I’m a proper perfectionist and I have a few more songs that I need and want to write. It’s more about the type of artist I am.”
We’re more than okay with that Lou!!!
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell just confirmed to the same station that a One Direction reunion is definitely, 100% something that is happening in the future, as they have “too big” a legacy not to.
“I just think the legacy is too big not to go back to at one point. Plus they have enough songs. I didn’t know how many hits they’ve had… When they do get back together it will be a huge event.
“But look, they’re all doing their own thing and they’re all being successful. But I have a feeling it will happen. I really do. I’d love it to happen.”
He added, “Individually they were all great. The group was the launchpad, but, of course, everyone would love to see them back together — even if it was just a series of concerts.”
Since the band never toured Made in the AM, we know that would be the perfect way to return to the band!
