First, the British pop group pushed back the original dates from July to December, just one month before they were supposed to take place.
And now, their fans feel gipped again.
Now, the group has announced they will be rescheduling their Australia and New Zealand dates AGAIN, and the reason they gave? “We have to use this time focus on recording new music.”
“We are really sad to announce we have to cancel our upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour dates. We are so sorry for disappointing our fans who were coming to the shows,” the statement began.
“This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly but we have to use this time to focus on recording new music. Please contact your point of purchase for a full refund of tickets.”
Little Mix’s most recent album LM5, was released in November last year. According to reports, the only reason the band postponed the Aussie and NZ tour dates back in July was so that they could promote their single Bounce Back.
However, Bounce Back failed to capture the Aussie audience, with the song peaking at 86 in Oz.
Understandably fans are RAGING, with many calling the girl group “unprofessional”.
While there were many out there who were mad at not being able to see their favourite band, one fan summed it up the best when they pointed out that letting down their supporters can only hurt the group in the long run.
