Dear Lord, give us strength.
Kylie Jenner has been very vocal about supporting the Australian bushfires, specifically, posting relief for charities that help care for burnt and injured koalas.
Which is why when the reality star followed up an Instagram promoting bushfire relief with her wearing real fur slippers, fans (especially Australian fans) were mad.

Last night the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared a photo of firie carrying a koala away from the flames, writing: “Over half a BILLION animals have been killed in Australia. This breaks my heart…”
That’s a nice gesture, however, it was quickly followed by the self-made billionaire sharing a snap of herself wearing Louis Vuitton mink fur slippers.
To say that fans were furious at the hypocrisy and inappropriateness of the post, would be an understatement.

“Kylie Jenner was really on her story crying about animals dying in australia and then proceeded to post a pic of mink fur slippers i- idk about that one,” one Twitter user wrote, “Seeing Kylie Jenner post about the koalas being killed by the fires in Australia followed by a picture of her wearing mink sandals on her Instagram story really made me realize the extent to which the Kardashian family’s stupidity reaches.”
Another shocked fan wrote: “Kylie posting her mink fur sandals right after her koalas dying post is peak fake woke behavior I f*****g hate to see it.”
Other users on Twitter were equally as unforgiving:

Kylie’s backlash comes after sister Kim Kardashian epically clap backed at a fan that suggested the Kardashian sisters haven’t donated to the Australian bushfires relief.
“Nothing gets me more heated than to see the Kardashians/Jenners talk about climate change/wildfires & not donate even a penny,” the fan wrote on Twitter.
The fan then tagged Kim, as well as sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.

“Nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicize everything,” Kardashian West tweeted back, and oh damn.
Kim didn’t disclose the amount her and her sisters gave (and TBH, she doesn’t have to) but Kylie’s Instagram Story was seriously misguided.
