Miley Cyrus’s dating life post-Liam Hemsworth has been a mini-saga, and one of the people who arguably would be feeling the most hurt at how everything panned out, is Kaitlynn Carter.

For those who need a refresher: In August, Kaitlynn ended her marriage to Brody Jenner, and moved on with close friend Miley Cyrus almost immediately after Miley divorced from Liam.
THEN, after taking Kaitlynn on a trip to Italy and then as her date to the VMA’s, Miley broke up with Kaitlynn because it was getting “too serious”, only to move on with Aussie singer Cody Simpson almost immediately.
The twisting of the knife would have to be the fact that Brody has also moved on, with 22-year-old model Josie Canseco.
So yeah, it’s safe to say 2019 hasn’t been Kaitlynn’s year.
It’s only been a couple of weeks since her breakup with Miley, but now The Hills: New Beginnings star has finally addressed her split while commenting back to a fan who decided to comment on Kaitlynn’s size.
Putting aside for a hot minute the fact that policing women’s bodies on social media has GOT to stop, Kaitlynn just seems like she’s trying to live her life and be as happy as possible in the wake of both her exes moving on so publicly.
“Oh Kaitlynn u look too thin r u ok you are so beautiful hope all is ok,” the fan wrote.
“It was nice to see you healthy for a bit modeling it was normal it seems like the new norm is being shown as super thin is only exceptional.”
In a rare move, Kaitlynn wrote back: “I mean I been through some sh*t lately LOL.”
Kaitlynn babe, breakups are hard, you just keep doing you.
