Johnny Ruffo has sent fans into meltdown after hinting he may be returning to Home And Away.
The 30-year-old actor, who played Chris Harrington on the popular soap, took to Instagram to share a snap of himself alongside veteran Home And Away star, Lynne McGranger.
“On set today with my bestie,” he captioned.
Fans were quick to jump on the post – probing for answers on whether Johnny is returning to the Channel Seven show.
“On set? Home and Away Set? Is Chris Harrington returning? 🙏🙏🙏,” one eager fan wrote, with another adding, “Does that mean good ol’ Chris is coming back to the bay? There’s been a little less sparkle without him.”
Johnny hasn’t confirmed whether or not Chris will be returning to Summer Bay.
His Instagram with Lynne comes almost a year after the actor was diagnosed with brain cancer, after shockingly discovering he had a seven-centimetre tumour that had grown over his right frontal lobe.
Speaking with The Project, he later revealed it was simply luck that he discovered the growth.
“The surgeon said if I hadn’t gone to the hospital that night I would have died in my sleep that night. It is just sheer luck that I went in when I did and everything happened the way it did otherwise I wouldn’t be here,” he told Carrie Bickmore.
Johnny is making great progress in his recovery, and has become an outspoken ambassador for brain cancer awareness.
