EVERYONE is a John Green fan. How could you not be? (‘The Fault In Our Stars’ much??) So, we’re pretty keen to hear that his amazing novel ‘Looking For Alaska’ is being turned into a TV show on Hulu!
According to Deadline, producer Josh Schwartz (the same guy who has given us The O.C. and Gossip Girl) is working with the streaming service to get production happening ASAP.
Looking for Alaska was published back in 2005, but it wasn’t untilThe Fault in Our Stars in 2012 that people started to really notice John’s incredible novels.
The story follows the story of a young man named Miles, who leaves his home in Florida to go to boarding school in Alabama.
There he meets a young girl named Alaska, who turns his world upside down.
No actors are yet attached to the show, so fans are tweeting their dream cast. One writing, “When I first read Looking for Alaska before my dream cast were Kaya Scodelario & Dylan O’Brian but they don’t fit anymore to the characters due to age /sobs hey the good thing they worked together in Maze Runner though so it’s still okay lol.”
We’d love that TBH.
And another fan wrote, “Yesssss. I can die happy now. Well of course after I watch it!!”
HOWEVER, PLL star Keegan Allen has said he’s keen for one character: “Wow this is amazing- if you’re looking for THE COLONEL look no further,” he wrote.
