In news that’s really not all that surprising if you know him, Jacob Elordi has just revealed in a new interview that he hasn’t actually watched his own film, The Kissing Booth 2. The Australian actor has been hanging out in Brisbane since finishing filming the second instalment of one of Netflix’s most popular franchises and apparently been enjoying the peace and quiet.
When asked if he was dealing with much paparazzi, Elordi replied that he hasn’t. “This is the most beautiful place in the world. I had a run-in in Sydney once, strangely. That sucked. But, no. If I’m by myself, you won’t see me. I’m a ghost.”
Elordi plays Noah Flynn in the films, which many people believe he really dislikes. In yet more evidence to this theory, Elordi revealed that although the film has been out on Netflix for a number of weeks, he still hasn’t watched it.
“I haven’t seen it. You’ve seen more than I have. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that, but I haven’t,” Elordi revealed. After that, there’s a pretty damning exchange with the reporter.
“Do you like it?” he asks. “Yeah, it was cute,” she replies.
Then Elordi doubles down and says, “Be honest.”
“I thought it was better than the first one,” the reporter replies.
To which Elordi says, “That’s so kind of you.”
Sometimes all you can say is, ‘yikes.’
